Waneous Family

windy.JPG

Windy is the daughter of PJ out of my Waneous ewe I shipped from Oregon with Starbright. She is double registered with both the Montadale Association and the Natural Wool Growers Association, as were both of her parents.  Windy has produced 2 sets of twins from the Chandler ram, one set of colored lambs and one set of white lambs.  Windy is a lovely ewe to look at, very correct and with a smoky gray/brown fleece showing subtle highlights of silver and bronze that reminds you of a campfire as it is dying down.  Windy's fleece has a lot of spring to it that makes it wonderful to spin and weave with.  Windy's daughter, Wonder, is pictured below.

This is Wonder's lamb picture.  Her lamb fleece was the first place medium colored fleece at SAFF in 2011.  She is currently bred to the Hughy ram.

Since we haven't sheared yet, both Windy and Wonder fleeces will be available for purchase.

Oregon Star Family

stardust.JPG

Stardust is one of Starbright's first set of twins. Starbright was one of my two original ewes from Oregon. Like her mother, she is very sweet tempered. She has produced 2 sets of twins so far, and gave me a set of triplets this year sired by Samuel. Stardust produces a lovely soft cream colored fleece. When her coat is taken off, her fleece cracks open just like the veins of a piece of marble.
Stardust's fleece is available.
