This is a shot of my Waneous ewe in her coat. Waneous is a 6 yr old double registered Montadale/Natural Colored
Wool ewe. As a yearling she was shown with success in Oregon, her home state. She produces a wonderful silvery gray
with black flecks, reminds you of old silver, that is very soft and has a lot of "poof" when washed.Waneous had
twin ewes by PJ this year that are really a treat to see.

Starbright is also from Oregon. She is sired by a Rambouilette ram. Her dam is a Montadale/Columbia cross. Star, as she
is known on the farm, was also shown as a lamb but is a much better mom than show girl. Her first lambing she produced these
two lovely ewes sired by a CVM/Romeldale ram. Star has a beautiful fleece, very white when washed with an average of
3 1/2 to 4 inch staple and a very tight crimp. Her daughters, shown here as newborns, are Starburst and Stardust. They
will have their first lambs this coming February, 2009.

Starbright's
fleece has been sold for this year.
