Starbright Family continued
|
Stardust is one of Starbright's first set of twins. Like her mother, she is very
sweet tempered. She has produced 2 sets of twins so far, a mixed pair last year, ram and ewe, and a pair of ram lambs
this year, one of which is a gray moorit, badger-face. Stardust produces a lovely soft cream colored fleece.
When her coat is taken off, her fleece cracks open just like the veins of a piece of marble.

Starburst is the twin sister to Stardust. I took her to the North Carolina State Fair this year just to see if
anyone else thought she was as good as I do!! She came home with the Grand Champion white fine wool fleece ewe ribbons!!
As you can see from the picture she shows a very good Romeldale/CVM conformation as well as having an absolutely to die for
fleece. I kept her fleece from last year and it spins like a dream. When her blanket was taken off for the show,
her fleece reminded me of a fried marble the way it cracked open. Starburst also has a light cream colored fleece with
a staple length of a little over 4 inches. She reminds you of a marshmallow on toothpicks!! She had a single ram
lamb last year and has not yet lambed for this year.

Starburst's fleece was 1st place fine white wool fleece at the NC SAFF show
this year. Her fleece was sold at SAFF.
