Leah

Leah is a 4 yr old registered Montadale. I purchased Leah last year from Kathleen Albee in Walnut Cove, NC.  Leah is originally from the show flock of Smith. Leah has a really lovely fleece which has placed second to merino fleeces at both the North Carolina Mountain State Fair and at the Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival.  Her fleece this year, after being heavily skirted still weighed 8 lbs. Leah lambed this year with a single ewe lamb that I am really excited about.  Leda, as the lamb is known, has the same soft, tightly crimped fleece as her mother. Both are pictured here together.

Racheal

Racheal is a registered Montadale ewe I purchased from Kathleen Albee of Walnut Cove, NC.  She was originally in the show flock.  Racheal is a very nice, correct ewe who enjoys treats.  She has a very soft, tight crimp to here fleece. This year's fleece, after skirting weighed 7 lbs.  Racheal had a set of mixed twins by PJ this year as you can see in the picture. Racheal managed to surprise me this year by lambing in the pasture before I had the jugs ready.
